Introduction
AC high-voltage falling fuse (DRWU-12) is a protective device for outdoor high voltage overhead 12kV power distribution system which is the preferred equipment of a power supply station and industrial user. It provides entire range protection for transformer, capacitor and cable of the distribution system. It also provides thorough range protection for segment points and branch lines of overhead line. It can provide reliable protection according to the accurate time current characteristic to prevent overload and short circuit within a contemporary range which is from the minimum breaking current to the maximum breaking current.

Characters
Insulator materials use outdoor resin and fibrous material which have excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. Our company’s insulator instead of traditional porcelain insulator. It has characters of lightweight, strong resistance to electricity, ageing resistance, ability to effectively prevent a short circuit caused by foreign matter, etc. The fuse was tested for accelerated aging at Xian institute of high voltage electrical appliances. The above test proves that the fuse has a long service life. The material can be invoked as filling material for recycling and reusing after crushing. The material is energy-saving and environment-friendly.
The insulator adopts the unique design of a long strip U-shaped groove. It has an insulator cover on the top. Its whole structure forms a watch box for the contact head which prevents rain, snow, freezing rain and dew from dripping on the contact head. The two sides umbrella skirt of insulator with U-shaped groove act as a slope guide, which prevents dew, rain and snow from dripping on the contact head, therefore, the effect of integral insulation is achieved. It ensures good switching performance and reliable mechanical performance of the product on the matter in any harsh environment. It has a high level of anti-pollution.
Convenient and fast connection
Unique connection mode saves time and effort for construction. Compared with conventional construction techniques, our connection mode eliminates clamping process of copper and aluminum terminals installation. Upper and lower connection terminal equipped with insulation coat which keep conductive separate from being exposed.
Connection mode: cut off insulating cable skin by the required length ( shorter) with an electric knife or wire stripper, put insulation coat over cable. Insert cable into connection terminal, tighten lock nut with wrench, put insulation coat over connection terminal.

Connection mode of conventional product: cut off insulating cable skin by required length (longer), put copper and aluminum terminals of corresponding specifications over cable, press connection well with die clamp of corresponding specifications, secure the pressed connection and connection of falling type fuse with bolt, then wrench tight, put insulation coat on.
