Introduction
Outdoor AC high-voltage disconnection switch (DGW9V-12) is one phase hook rod switch without load operation. It is applicable to overhead lines with rated voltage equal or below 12kV and 50Hz AC or 60Hz AC. It is mainly worked with a circuit breaker or load switch, provide a visible break, improves equipment operability and maintenance safety. Use operating rod to divide and combine operation in the case of electricity without load.

Pedestal
Use a high strength steel plate with high quality stainless steel or hot dip zinc anticorrosion process treatment.
Insulator
The insulator is composed of 27kV high-voltage insulation material which used in electrified railway. It has excellent mechanical properties, electrical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. Instead of the traditional porcelain insulator and silica gel as the umbrella skirt insulator. It has good anti-explosion performance and strong anti-fouling ability. The creepage distance can reach Ⅳ level pollution degree requirement. Outdoor AC high-voltage disconnection switch replaces two traditional post insulators with a V-shaped insulator. This V-shaped insulator is designed by our company and is the first innovation in China. The advantages: no deformation due to improper force during installation or long-term outdoor use, no power accidents due to bad contact which caused by transverse tension of line cable. Product features: small volume, lightweight, not easy to damage, easy installation, long service life, etc.
Main circuit design
The conductive part of the main circuit is silver plated, its cross sectional area is big and it has highly electric conductivity. The static double contact design is effectively lowered the wear of contacts during switch operation, makes the current conductivity good when the switch closing, makes the operation more stable, makes the performance reliability. Stainless steel disc springs of contact increase the reliability and service life of contact conduction. The insulating cover adopts the unique long strip U-shaped groove design, this structure constitutes a protection for contact and knife board and prevents rain, snow, freezing rain and dew from dripping on the contact and knife board, so there is no need to think about the thickness of ice. The two sides umbrella skirt of insulator cover with U-shaped groove act as a slope guide, which prevents dew and rain from dripping on the contact and knife board, therefore, the effect of integral insulation is achieved. It ensures good switching performance and reliable mechanical performance of the product on the matter in any harsh environment. It makes a high level of anti-pollution.
Connection terminal
It adopts standard double hole wire copper platen, hole size and distance of the copper platen are in line with domestic use and easy to install.
Operating ring
The operative part of switching equip with a large ring-pull device and a self-locking device. No risk of automatic fall because of the switch is locked automatically when closing. Unlock by ring-pull during tripping operation. It is perfectly safe and reliable.
Convenient and fast connection
Unique connection mode saves time and effort for construction. Compare to conventional construction techniques, our connection mode eliminates clamping process of copper and aluminum terminals installation. Upper and lower connection terminal equipped with insulation coat which keep conductive separate from being exposed.
Connection mode: cut off insulating cable skin by the required length ( shorter) with an electric knife or wire stripper, put insulation coat over cable. Insert cable into connection terminal, tighten lock nut with wrench, put insulation coat over connection terminal.

Connection mode of conventional product
Connection mode of conventional product: cut off insulating cable skin by required length (longer), put copper and aluminum terminals of corresponding specifications over cable, press connection well with die clamp of corresponding specifications, secure the pressed connection and connection of disconnection switch with bolt, then wrench tight, put insulation coat on.
