Application
Composite coat metallic oxide lightning arrester with disconnector (HY5WS1-17/50L) is applied to protect AC power distribution 12kv electric apparatus from over-voltage damage.
Characters
1 Use good nonlinear voltammetric MOV.
2 All standard parts and bolts shall use stainless steel materials. Insulating material uses the unsaturated polyester resins that have excellent mechanical property, good electrical property and chemical resistance, and it shall use special pressing process. The product shall not have inside cavity and shall have good explosion proof performance and anti-pollution performance. The product is equipped with special insulation plate and mounting bracket. The disconnector’s down bolts shall be connected with earth wire and the upward bolts shall be directly connected with the bottom part of the lighting arrester (as shown in the figure). It has the characters of small volume, light weight, not easy to be broken, easy to be installed and long service life, etc.
Main technical performance
Composite coat metallic oxide lightning arrester with disconnector (HY5WS1-17/50L) is equipped with disconnector because when lighting arrester breaks down under abnormal situations, the short-circuit current of power frequency will motivate the disconnector and the disconnector’s ground connection part will automatically break the dotted line is shown in the figure which makes the failure lighting arrester and system separates. This shows that the failure lighting arrester needs to be changed. To achieve this aim, the disconnector shall have the quick motion character and shall be able to tolerate the regulated current surge and operating duty.
